We've made some exciting progress lately! The bricking is almost complete and sheetrock is hung! It's looking amazing! We chose to go with a heavy mortar and joint line on the brick. They use burlap cloths to give it that old world charm that we love! They've also started incorporating some stone that I bought almost a year ago that came from a building in Philadelphia that was demoed. It's looking great! The plan is to paint some of the brick later, so they've switched to a different color of mortar on the parts we're going to leave exposed.
The sheetrock crew are quite the characters! They are a group of brothers that argue constantly and jam out to some great music! They are amazing at their craft and are doing a wonderful job so far!
Next up is carpentry... :)
